I am a fantasy and romance reader first and an author second. Somewhere between devouring every story I could find and falling in love with worlds I wished were real, I decided to build my own.

I write and self-publish every novel myself, by choice: the slow work of making a world you can live in is the whole point, and I would rather share it than keep it to myself.

Romy Stanhope is a pen name. I value my privacy and prefer to let the stories speak for themselves.
